Robert Half is seeking an experienced accountant. A Staff Accountant’s responsibilities will include monthly and year-end closings, general ledger, preparing journal entries, financial statements, and bank reconciliation. A general staff accountant must possess attention to detail and solid communication abilities. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Strong technology skills are critical, particularly expertise with Microsoft Excel.
1+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience
Command of account reconciliation
Comprehensive knowledge of month end closings
Proficiency in financial reporting
Financial analysis experience
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases
Competent with spreadsheets and databases
BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics
The ideal candidate will be highly skilled with exceptional analytical, quantitative, and social skills
Outstanding organizational, written, and verbal communication skills required
Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
