Under the direction of plant supervision, the General Manufacturing Support will perform any combination of the following tasks to assist in machine shop activities, meeting or exceeding company production and quality standards and customer product specifications, and satisfying customer delivery requirements. What will my responsibilities include? Operator support equipment such as ECM Cabinet, EDI, Washers, Drill Presses, Tumbler, Harparizer. Pack parts to customer specifications and requirements. Inspect parts for defects, in order to maintain quality. Deburr, de-rust, brushing, oiling and/or clean parts. Complete all necessary documentation and paperwork for processes completed. Maintain machinery, add coolant, clean/replace filters, and/or add oil as needed. Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures. Comply with all quality and safety regulations. What key skills and experience do I need? Ability to operate a variety of measuring devices and to operate a wide variety of small hand tools. Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, blueprints and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively with employees and write routine...
