Responsibilities:
- Perform various massage techniques through a variety of modalities
- Assess clients' needs and create customized treatment plans
- Provide pain management through the use of therapeutic techniques
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Educate clients on self-care techniques and exercises for continued improvement
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols
Qualifications:
- RequiredValid Massage Therapist license/certification in the state of Maryland
- (Preferred) Proven experience as a Massage Therapist
- Proficient and certified in different massage modalities with preference given to trigger point, myofascial release, sports massage, hot stone, and manual lymphatic drainage
- Strong knowledge of anatomy
- Experience with SOAP notes
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction
- 2+ professional or academic references required
- Bilingual - Spanish or ASL a plus
