About the Job
The Low Voltage Switching Regulator Group develops integrated DC/DC Converter Solutions for consumer battery powered (Smartphone, Tablet, Smart Watches, …), ultra-low power systems (Energy Harvesting, Smart Metering, …) as well as low voltage, high current DC/DC solutions for automotive and industrial applications.
The System-Team evaluates existing power solutions and defines new products based on customer feedback. The Team provides specific design-in support for strategic accounts by measurements, simulations and evaluation of solutions that help customers to solve their specific power supply challenges.
As a System Engineering Intern you will be part of the global SR- Low Voltage Buck Team. You take over parts of application specific power designs with our latest DC/DC Converters as well as dedicated power measurements in the Lab.
Your tasks are:
Design, assembly and test of analog power circuits
Simulations based on Simplis
Performing measurements for characterizing Power Management circuits according to internal standards
Design application specific reference circuits (Schematic and Layout)
Analyzing existing power solutions

Minimum Requirements:
Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, electronics technology, electrical engineering technology, electrical and computer engineering or related field
Good skills and interest in analog circuits as well as switch mode power supplies
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
Ability to build strong, influential relationships
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
A successful completed apprenticeship would be preferred, but not required
