Aerotek Yard Helper in Fremont, California

Job Title: Forklift Yard Helper

Location: Fremont

Shift: from 3:00 pm - 1:30 am, Monday to Thursday.

Responsibilities:

  • Move Products: Read and interpret shipping documents, unload lumber from trailers and railcars, place products in designated areas, and build secure loads.

  • Ensure Accuracy: Check labels, scan products, verify orders, and match paperwork with received or outbound products.

  • Physical Tasks: Bend, stoop, reach, twist, lift (up to 75 lbs.), push, pull, stand for long periods, and move merchandise.

  • Respond to Announcements: Address public address system calls and general information.

Work Environment:

  • Work in a lumber yard with a strong focus on safety.

  • Wear a safety vest daily.
