Maintenance Mechanic Lead - Industrial Machinery

Manpower seeks a day shift Maintenance Mechanic Lead to be paid up to $25.00 per hour or $52 per year, specializing in industrial machinery, with experience in a variety of functions, including troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of machinery for a manufacturing facility that is open to all qualified applicants, including those with criminal histories.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise daily maintenance operations for industrial machinery

Conduct thorough assessments of machinery for necessary repairs and maintenance

Ensure timely and accurate completion of maintenance tasks on industrial equipment

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot various types of industrial machinery

Follow technical manuals and instructions for maintenance tasks on specialized machinery

Maintain inspection schedules and perform repairs on industrial machinery as needed

Operate specialized tools safely and maintain a tidy workspace in industrial settings

Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, particularly in industrial environments

Perform general building maintenance duties as assigned, with a focus on industrial infrastructure

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

1+ years of team leadership experience in industrial maintenance settings

2+ years of experience specifically in maintenance of industrial machinery

Trade or vocational school training preferred, with a focus on industrial machinery

General knowledge of industrial machinery systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical components

Proficiency with specialized hand and power tools used in industrial maintenance

Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing complex machinery issues

Basic computer literacy for accessing technical manuals and recording maintenance tasks

Experience with HVAC and plumbing desired

Schedule:

8-hour day shifts, Monday to Friday, 6am-2:30pm, with occasional weekends as needed to support maintenance operations

Compensation:

Hourly rate: $20.00 - $25.00, with potential for direct hire, with final compensation based on experience and expertise

Potential for quarterly bonuses based on performance and team productivity
