Description:

Reporting to the Supervisor Central Transportation*, Central Transportation, this position is responsible for performing and coordinating a variety of duties related to scheduling, dispatch, and performance of the Customer Service Center divisions. This position acts as the link between the customer and the Customer Service Center in the delivery of prompt, efficient customer focused service. The incumbent will demonstrate active, personal, daily involvement, visibility, open-mindedness and professionalism to Service Center and facility staff, internal and external customers, and suppliers.

  1. High school diploma or equivalent is required.

  2. Ability to communicate and follow written and verbal instructions is required.

  3. Two years of customer service experience as well as strong computer and clerical skills is preferred.

  4. The ability to multitask and operate with appropriate and prudent autonomy, as well as a bias for action is required.

  5. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.

  6. Previous healthcare experience is preferred.

  7. Ability to learn proper lifting and transferring techniques when moving patients, using gurneys, wheelchairs and patient beds, lifting and transferring equipment and operating communication equipment is required.
