Description Robert Half has partnered with a mid-size, innovative manufacturing organization, that is seeking a goal-oriented and detail-focused Staff Accountant to join their growing team. The Staff Accountant will work collaboratively with their multi-disciplinary accounting group by providing financial information and preparing reports by maintaining, verifying, and reconciling financial transactions. Responsibilities: Prepare monthly journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations while closing the monthly fiscal records Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes Handle complex and detailed reconciliations of bank statements Provide detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions Prepare documentation for external auditors Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field Minimum of 3 years of related experience in accounting or finance Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel Detail-oriented and analytical with strong problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity Possess a deep and current understanding of excellent control structures and procedures Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is a plus
