About the role This position is responsible for the recruitment process, employee relations, performance management, employee counseling and training, and administering employee programs, which includes employee benefits programs. This position provides HR support to managers and employees within the site location. Responsibilities Support the recruitment process including job postings, resume review, interviewing, reference checks, offer letters, and entire onboarding process. Assists in administering transfers, promotions, discipline & terminations, ensuring compliance with company policy and applicable law. Conducts exit interviews and provides feedback to management. Assist with performance management process; provide feedback and / or recommendations to management on employee performance reviews. Maintains the accuracy and confidentiality of employee information. May develop and/or facilitate training programs at location. May serve as backup for payroll Qualifications Working knowledge of employment law, federal and state regulations Must have experience working with Applicant Tracking and HRIS systems Must have a strong sense of urgency, and ability to maintain high ethical standards and professionalism in dealing with sensitive issues Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to prioritize, work under pressure, and multi-task Strong organizational and analytical skills Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Bilingual, English and Spanish, preferred Education & Experience Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management, business or related field required Minimum 3 years Human Resources Generalist experience required Travel Minimal travel, such as, travel when appropriate to various HR related conferences and/or trainings.
