Job Description:

The Department of Clinical and Health Psychology within the College of Public Health and Health Professions invites applications for a non-tenure track, clinical faculty member in the area of clinical health psychology or rehabilitation psychology. Rank will be commensurate with experience, but hiring is anticipated to be at the Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor level. This is a full- time (1.0 FTE), 12-month position. We welcome junior faculty applications. The Department has a mentoring program designed to assist junior faculty in their professional identity and development.

The primary assignment for this position will be in inpatient and outpatient adult solid organ transplantation, including pre-transplant assessments, clinical follow-up, team consultation as well as supervision of trainees. This service currently includes one other psychologist and routinely includes postdoctoral fellows, interns, and/or students who rotate on this service as part of their training. Although the position primarily serves the Liver Transplant team patients, the Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor will provide coverage for the other solid organ transplant services and generally coordinate with the other transplant psychologist/trainees to provide appropriate transplant services within UF Health. Depending upon interest and based on departmental needs, there may also be opportunity to provide coverage for other psychology services, such as inpatient acute care and rehabilitation and outpatient services through the Department’s Psychology Specialties Clinic, which serves a broad range of patients.
