Job Description:
The University of Florida Advancement Digital Communications team has an opening for a Student Assistant starting Fall 2024.
This position provides support to the Digital Marketing Team in the following areas:
Producing digital communications to our Alumni and Donors
Data reporting and analysis to our collaborators
Project Coordination
Website and graphic design support
Assistance with event marking as needed.
Drafting and reviewing social media content as needed.
Salary starts at $13.00/hour with a minimum of 10 hours a week required. Work hours are between 8 am – 5 pm (candidate picks schedule based on class schedule).
Expected Salary:
$13.00 per hour
Minimum Requirements:
This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on campus and will be employed through student Other Personnel Services (OPS) and must maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average. Registered students are employed on a part-time basis, up to 20 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
A basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Basic understanding of basic web programming.
A basic understanding of Adobe products is helpful, but not necessary.
Must be able to work independently.
Have a strong work ethic.
