Full Charge Bookkeeper

Spherion Gainesville, FL has a client looking for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to maintain financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments in their Gainesville, FL office. Let's get to work.

Direct Hire opportunity! Gainesville, FL Schedule: FT M-F Salary: $60 - 80k/yr DOE

Responsibilities: - General ledger and all bookkeeping needs - Payroll systems and records including timely processing of payroll, payroll tax deposits and payroll tax returns, employee benefits - Accounts receivable and payable systems and records - Communicate with senior management and share financial reports weekly, monthly, quarterly, and as needed - Prepare key financial reports on a monthly basis - Accurately input and complete payroll for up to 32 employees - Support Sales in completing reports and ensuring sales tax is set up within each state business is being done - Purchase necessary permits for the company fleet - Other duties as assigned

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills: - Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Good customer service and relationship building experience

Qualifications: - A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent acceptable with experience - 5+ years experience as a full charge bookkeeper - Understanding of a chart of accounts, journal entries, and generally accepted accounting principles - Substantial experience in working with QuickBooks - Experience with Sage, Peachtree and Excel is a must - Extensive experience with all Microsoft Office Products - Must be tech savvy and be able to learn new technologies quickly
