LifePoint Health Medical Lab Tech SS PRN in Gallatin, Tennessee
Performs routine laboratory tests in various sections of the laboratory.
Reports to: Director Laboratory
Performs common testing procedures and reports test results. Drag Edit Delete
Performs instrument maintenance and troubleshooting. Drag Edit Delete

Maintains supplies needed for performance of tests.
Minimum Education Graduate of a Program in Discipline (Medical Lab Technician) - Required
Associates degree in a Medical Laboratory Science program - Preferred.
50 weeks US military medical lab training course and minimum of 2 years of experience is accepted. Drag Edit Delete
Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Drag Edit Delete
Required Skills Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association training center is required within 90 days of employment, if not current upon hire Drag Edit Delete
Required Skills Licenses: ASCP certification or AMT or State of Tennessee MLT license or obtained within first year of employment Drag Edit Delete
Minimum Work Experience 6 months experience as a Medical Lab Technician - Preferred
