ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Participate in teaching activities in the MS/DI program and/or DCN program, as well as mentoring students and post-doctoral fellows.
Conduct scholarly research related to nutrition, physical activity, and/or behavioral science.
Participate in publishing articles in peer-reviewed journals.
Participate in core faculty activities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
An earned academic doctoral degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Behavioral Science, Health Behavior, or a similar field (Ph.D. or equivalent).
Experience in teaching students at a college or graduate level.
Excellent writing and presentation skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Postdoctoral training in a related field.
Service to the field in the form of peer review and/or participation in related national/international organizations.
An active ongoing research program including funded research projects and peer reviewed scholarly publications as first or senior/corresponding author.
SALARY:
Commensurate with experience.
