HRIS FMX systems experience.
Job Summary:
To provide general–level expertise and analysis of the administrative and business activities related to core processes within HR Shared Services. Ensures process and operational continuity of entity and department-level transactions.
Job Duties:
Develops and maintains Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs) for HR BusinessService Center, updates SOPs as needed for greater efficiency and to reflect therequirements of internal stakeholders and relevant federal, State of Texas and UT systemrules and regulations
Partners with other departments in Human Resources to identify and document best practices processes for HR Shared Services functions, and to resolve any throughputissues
Studies and analyzes data on HR Shared Services work to report on trends and identifybest practice areas and areas for improvement. Writes reports for presentation to theDirector, HR Benefits & Employee Services, and other HR leadership
Provides prompt, courteous, and accurate assistance to internal customers byinvestigating and actively seeking resolution to internal customers’ problems andconcerns.
Evaluate plans and programs within the HR Business Service Center and makerecommendations for strategic changes in alignment with the organizational goals.
Develops and maintains accurate information within the Human Capital ManagementSystem (HCM) and HR Business Center Customer Relationship Management System(CRM).
Coaches, develops, and consults with employees, team members, and management.
Works cross-functionally across the spectrum of shared services comprehensive areasaccording to demand.
Adheres to all UTMB and HR Shared Services policies, procedures, and standards withinbudgetary specifications, including time management, supply management, productivity,and accuracy of practice
Maintains required documentation relating to customer interactions.
Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements formandatory/continuing education and skills competency while supporting department-based goals that contribute to the success of the organization. Serves as preceptor,mentor, and resource to HR Business Service Center Team
Participates on project teams as assigned or performs special projects as requested byleadership
Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure
Performs related duties as required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Experience in PeopleSoft HCM version 8.8 or higher and above average knowledge ofPS-HCM data structures/modules as well as a working knowledge of MS Excel.
Demonstrates ability to manage multiple priorities and use critical thinking skills to makedecisions with minimal guidance.
Strong attention to detail and problem-resolution skills.
Maintains a high level of confidentiality when researching and responding to customerinquiries/issues.
Ability to work independently or in collaboration with peers and business partners in aseamless manner.
Ability to interpret policies and procedures within the HR Shared Services and determinewhen escalation of an issue is appropriate. Must have strong verbal and writtencommunication skills and the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of theorganization.
Salary Range:
$46,000.00 to $60,000.00, actual salary commensurate with experience.
Work Schedule:
Partial remote, local candidate, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, and as needed on occasion.
