Job Title: Vehicle Electrical Systems TechnicianJob Description
As a member of the Vehicle Electrical Systems team, this role will provide hands-on support of the engineering process. This role will focus on electrical devices, high and low voltage wiring, and vehicle integration of electrical parts.
Responsibilities
Work with the engineering staff to develop and test electrical components and harnesses, and provide cross-functional electrical systems support.
Troubleshoot and resolve vehicle and system level issues related to electrical systems.
Execute special wire harness builds to support various testing.
Inspect, repair, and rework high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) wire harnesses as needed.
Essential Skills
Experience with electric vehicle and/or high voltage battery systems.
Knowledge and experience in electrical testing and troubleshooting.
Relevant educational credential related to automotive or electrical systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Strong computer skills including vehicle signal data analysis.
Experience planning and building electrical test apparatus.
Work Environment
You will work in a dynamic engineering environment, handling various electrical devices and wiring systems. The role involves hands-on tasks including the development, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in vehicles. You will be required to use test equipment and tools to inspect, repair, and rework wire harnesses.
