Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
This position involves maintenance work for a forging facility that produces crankshafts for the automotive industry. The facility is highly automated and operates in a hot and dirty environment. The ideal candidate must have mechanical and electrical aptitude with at least 3 years of experience in an industrial maintenance setting, particularly working with PLCs.
Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on PLCs
Conduct mechanical and electrical repairs
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Work with 3 phase motors and 480v systems
Perform hydraulic and pneumatic system maintenance
Execute preventive maintenance tasks
Ensure machinery operates efficiently and safely
Essential Skills
Mechanical aptitude
PLC troubleshooting
Reading blueprints
Working with 3 phase motors and 480v systems
Understanding schematics
Hydraulic and pneumatic system maintenance
Electrical maintenance
Industrial maintenance experience (2-3 years)
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Preferred: Welding experience

Work Environment
The forging environment is hot and dirty, and employees can expect to leave dirty daily. Be prepared to drink plenty of water to avoid heat exhaustion. The position involves 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Employees will work on a rotating schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday; or Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday.

This is a Permanent position based out of Georgetown, Kentucky.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $65520.00
