Production Planner

Germantown, WI

(Hybrid) Monday – Friday

Your role as Production Planner is to enable the capability to deliver to customers via short term production and inventory planning. You review the customer demand and work daily with the production departments to see what production progress has been, what adjustments are needed and what can be improved. You are an important reference for the Production Manager, the supply chain planners and customer service. Use your analytical and communication skills along with your supply chain and manufacturing background to make a difference with our customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and adjust the short-term production planning and scheduling for 2 factories in North America with the aim to achieve an optimal production output that ensure on time and in full customers sales orders fulfilment while inventory holding targets are not exceeded.

  • Coordinate the associated material flows by replenishing timely several downstream warehouses.

  • Mitigating and resolving the current and potential supply issues on the short-term horizon in cooperation with various stakeholders such as Customer Service, Demand Planning, Quality, and manufacturing operations

  • If changes to the plan are needed, you are responsible for timely informing internal production, customer service and commercial stakeholders to mitigate impact on customers demand fulfilment.

  • Execute of operational activities related to the planning and procurement of raw and intermediate materials by ensuring availability of the right quantity of raw and intermediate materials to the production lines when needed.

  • Coordinate allocation process in case of unbalanced demand and supply.

  • Reviewing and maintaining Planning master data parameters

  • Supporting yearly Financial and Volume planning

  • Main KPIs are related to production planning, demand fulfilment, inventory targets, performance of root cause analysis and implementation of improvement actions.

This position embraces a Hybrid Working model, offering the flexibility of both office and remote work. Initially you will be on-site for 5 days a week, transitioning gradually to 1-2 days in your home office once you are fully acclimated .

You bring :

  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in (Technical) Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics/Planning, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in similar position.

  • Solid oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability of working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.

  • Assertive and pro-active attitude in order to prevent and solve issues on time.

  • Self-reliant planner who shows ownership and is able to make decisions.

  • Critical and analytical thinking to be able to assess the factory needs regarding material and capacity planning.

  • Knowledge of Excel is a must. Knowledge of SAP, MRP and advanced planning systems (preferably OMP) is strongly preferred.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
