Philips Clinical Application Specialist (m/f/d) FORS EU in Germany - Home Based, Germany

You are responsible for

  • Execute clinical and sales strategies to drive adoption of the solution in assigned sites to reach agreed adoption targets. Proactively identify barriers to adoption and propose improvements or actions to lift barriers.

  • Provide clinical and technical product expertise, in-lab product support and educate the end-users, in order to maximize the product’s performance for the user

  • Monitor the use of each product, gathering evidence on the performance of our products, capturing and addressing the complaints and inquiries made by customers, in order to obtain a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Execute product demonstrations and presentations as part of sales support and broader awareness generation. Pro-actively contribute to coordinating all logistics related to such demos and presentations.

  • Manage communication with stakeholders on site including physicians, nurses, radiation tech, study investigators, research coordinator, etc

  • Educate Philips marketing, sales and R&D teams on emerging issues in the field and provide actionable feedback to continuously improve the design of the products/solutions.

  • Execute testing, evaluation and validation of new functionality in the clinical context, in house and with customers in the field.

  • Represent Philips towards customers during customer visits and at selected congresses by providing presentations, demonstrations, sales support.

… the FORS venture, an entrepreneurial, multidisciplinary team that acts as a start-up in the larger corporation, tasked to build a new business whilst leveraging the competencies of the broader Philips organization. In the FORS venture you will be joining the FORS business team which is responsible for the clinical, marketing, sales and business development activities for this new and exciting medical device.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • Bachelor degree or technical vocational training

  • Proven affinity and preferably rich clinical work experience in healthcare (in the hospital); within vascular surgery, interventional radiology or interventional cardiology, involving single-use minimally invasive medical devices

  • Experience in similar role in the healthcare industry (medical devices, imaging equipment etc)

  • Hands-on person with proven ability to implement and communicate out of the box solutions in practice

  • Customer focus, drive for quality

  • Excellent customer facing skills (presentations, influencing, human interaction)

  • Proven ability to work in a global environment in a multi-site assignment and willingness to travel (up to 50%, mostly in Germany and to the Netherlands)

  • Native German speaker, excellent English skills

In return, we offer you

In this role as Clinical Application Specialist FORS EU you will play a pivotal role in the introduction and adoption of the new FORS (Fiber Optic RealShape) technology in Western Europe, with a focus on the DACH market. FORS is a unique technology that enables real-time 3D visualization of the full shape of devices inside the body without the need for fluoroscopy thus allowing us to break through the current limitations of image guided therapy by reducing the dependency on fluoroscopy while seeing intra-body devices more clearly.

This role is home based with regular travel to assigned customer sites in the USA and occasional trips to the Philips Healthcare campus in the Netherlands (Eindhoven).
