Job Title: MIG/TIG Welder
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced MIG/TIG Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel, assembling conveyor systems, and ensuring the quality of their welds. This role requires a high level of skill in blueprint reading, drilling, tapping, and using various hand and power tools.
Responsibilities
Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel structures
Weld on both the outside and inside of structures
Conduct quality checks on welds and perform testing
Assemble conveyor systems, including drilling and tapping
Use a small die cutter to punch holes
Utilize hand and power tools
Read and interpret blueprints for welding and assembly tasks
Essential Skills
5+ years of welding and assembling experience
Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Mechanically inclined with experience in drilling and tapping
Fabrication and machining skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
1-2 years of TIG welding experience
Experience with metal fabrication machinery

Work Environment
You will work in a clean facility that has recently relocated to a new building. The production team consists of about 20 people, with 15 additional staff in office and engineering roles. The facility includes a welding station, a small machine area, and an on-site assembly area for belt systems. This is a first-shift position with hours from 6:30am to 3:30pm, including a one-hour unpaid lunch. The facility does not offer overtime and is focused on maintaining a productive and collaborative environment.
