Description
We are seeking a Tax Preparer to join our team based in Glen Allen, Virginia. As a Tax Preparer, you will be expected to adeptly handle accounting software systems, resolve inquiries, and maintain customer records. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity in the CPA industry.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize accounting software systems for processing and data entry
• Maintain updated records and monitor customer accounts
• Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service
• Accurately calculate allowances and deductibles for individual customers
• Use CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax for tax preparation
• Operate ADP - Financial Services for financial management
• Employ Drake Tax Software for tax operations
• Manage accounting functions as per the requirements
• Validate customer credit applications for accuracy and completeness.
Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with CCH ProSystem Fx
• Knowledge of CCH Sales Tax
• Ability to use Drake Tax Software
• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience in handling Allowances
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Proficiency in Data Entry
• Understanding of Deductible calculations
