Location: Glen Cove, Nassau County
Position: Part-Time Peer Advocate (leave replacement 15 hours/week) or Per Diem

Role Overview:
We are seeking exceptional professionals with a passion for making a meaningful impact in the lives of those we support. The Peer Advocate will provide essential peer support services tailored to the clinical needs identified in clients' treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide orientation, engagement, education, peer support, advocacy, and linkage to services for individuals and their families.
Offer outreach, mentoring, and recovery support services to individuals seeking or maintaining recovery.
Assist clients in applying for benefits and entitlements.
Model effective coping skills and help peers self-monitor their progress.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
NYS OASAS Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) certification required.
Relevant lived experience in addiction treatment services.
