Magellan Aerospace, Glendale specializes in the manufacturing of precision magnesium and aluminum sand castings. We have an exciting opportunity for General Labor, Molders, Melters, and Machine Operators. Position Requirements: Experience in foundry manufacturing environment preferred Must have ability Lift and carry up to (50lbs)

Responsibilities

• Clean and smooth molds, cores, and core boxes, and repair surface imperfections.
• Assemble cores into lower sections of molds, to create mold assembly per work instructions.
• Tend machines that bond cope and drag together to form completed molds.
• Operate molding machines and related equipment to produce quality products.
• Inspect cores for defects and report and issues to the supervisor.
• Clean and maintain work area to ensure safe and efficient work environment.
• Work to meet production goals and deadlines
