Our Operations Training Manager provides instruction to field personnel on all aspects of gas pipeline construction with an emphasis on NPL safety and quality requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Provide hands on training on all aspects of gas pipeline construction to the field personnel

  • Ensure that participants and instructors follow all NPL policies and procedures

  • Assist with tracking and reporting benchmarks and progress of the program

  • Provide one-on-one interaction and instruction with crewmembers

  • Assist with implementing safety policies that are incorporated in every level of development

  • Some weekends and overtime on occasion with training classes in other areas of the state

  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

What You'll Have

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Experience in the Natural Gas Utility industry in the field

  • 2 years of training experience teaching Operator Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of training, OSHA, and construction safety procedures; OSHA 500 and 510 preferred

  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred

  • Valid U.S. Driver's License in good standing

Work Environment

  • Work is performed in a 50% office and 50% field work at warehouse and construction sites

  • Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice

  • Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing

  • Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments

  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds

  • Working safely requires quick/accurate hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner

  • Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify

  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
