We are looking for a Medical Receptionist in Glendale, California. As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients and responsible for ensuring smooth operations within the office. The employment opportunity offers a contract to hire.
Responsibilities:
Greet and direct clients as the first point of contact in the office
• Utilize excellent organization skills to manage heavy scheduling tasks
• Use de-escalation skills when necessary to maintain a calm and detailed oriented environment
• Communicate effectively with agency staff and clients through various channels including in-person, phone, and email
• Prioritize tasks efficiently and adapt to changes in the workplace • Schedule appointments by reviewing staff calendars and providing quick response to clients
• Maintain a high level of customer service at all times
• Use strong written, verbal, and telephonic communication skills to interact with clients and staff
• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word for data entry and email correspondence
• Organize files and maintain accurate records of customer interactions
• insurance verification
• Adhere to internal processes and regulations regarding HIPPA.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's/AA Degree preferred or HS Diploma with minimum of 2 years of experience as a receptionist or in a similar role • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook) • Advanced experience in scheduling • Demonstrated customer service skills • Ability to handle data entry tasks • Experience in managing Email Correspondence • Strong interpersonal skills to ensure effective communication with clients and team • Ability to organize files and documents efficiently • Experience in scheduling appointments and managing calendars • Must have a proactive attitude, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities • Knowledge of HIPPA regulations and experience performing insurance verifications is essential.
