Insight Global Visual Designer in Glendale, California

Job Description

The Sr Product Designer will be responsible for creating sketches, wireframe, design specifications, graphics, digital illustrations, and prototypes in a variety of styles. Will partner with other designers and collaborate with cross-functional teams -- including product management and technology -- to take work from ideation to reality. This unique position requires a creative, talented, and motivated individual eager to learn, contribute and grow their skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Apply a broad range of capabilities to drive digital product design from concept through execution and final implementation.

  • Create sketches, wireframes, digital illustrations, and graphics.

  • Collaborate with various departments and teams to understand scope and project needs.

  • Expand and continue the established visual style of our existing products to meet industry standards.

  • Reflect our evolving design patterns and contribute to further progressing our standards of excellence.

  • Pitch and present visual exploration to managers, principals, and executive leadership.

  • Export and deliver production quality assets.

  • Participate in visual critiques and brainstorms.

Skills and Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional design experience, working on branded campaigns, commerce, hospitality, or entertainment experiences.

  • Experience creating products from a user-first design approach.

  • A strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of projects, illustrations, and visual storytelling in a variety of styles.

  • Solid understanding of art and visual design principles and techniques regarding 2D, layout, color theory, and animation.

  • Bachelor's Art degree or equivalent work experience.

    • Well-versed in Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Well-versed in Figma.

  • Capable to build interactive prototypes. * Experience with XD a plus. null
