SUMMARY

Responsible for maximizing the sale of Subaru Added Security (Mechanical, Maintenance, and Certified Pre-Owned Plans), Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP), and Optimum Vehicle Protection Finance and Insurance (F&I) products within designated territory.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieves sales objectives and product sales growth vs. prior year (PY) using all available programs and tools, including our Retailer Rewards Program.

  • Leads, supports, motivates, and helps Field team and retailers to promote and achieve Subaru Added Security (SAS) and Optimum Vehicle Protection (OVP) objectives within assigned territory, which requires traveling extensively and interacting with Field team as well as individual retailers.

  • Works through Field team to create retailer sales challenges and incentives for sales objectives and product sales growth within budget.

  • Applies experience and ability to fully understand Finance & Insurance (F&I) products in the marketplace and competitive strategies to protect and leverage brand strength and train Field and retailer personnel in effective sales practices, all with purpose of product sales and profit, customer retention, and a superior Owner Loyalty Program (OLP) Purchase score.

  • Strengthens retailer partnerships by consulting with store personnel including executive, sales, and business management to effect change and improve performance that mutually benefits retailers as well as Subaru of America (SOA).

  • Effectively leads, advises, and coaches retailer Safe-Guard Income Development Specialists.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Completes reports and itineraries in timely manner and efficiently conducts follow-up.

  • Seeks and implements innovative and effective solutions to maximize sales of F&I products.

REQUIRED SKILLS & PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Highly motivated self-starter.

  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and be well-organized.

  • Ability to effectively engage and communicate at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to travel across designated territory where needed to promote Subaru Added Security (SAS) product sales and objectives.

  • Ability to manage one's own time and schedule effectively with minimal on-hand supervision.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 4-Year College Degree (BA, BS) and 6-8 years' experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Required Travel: 75% travel required

COMPENSATION: The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $89400 - $127600 / year. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
