Operating Room RN Opportunity Award-Winning Magnet Hospital Near Albany

Unit Overview: Expanding surgical services seeking experienced OR nurses for state-of-the-art surgical department. Join a collaborative team providing exceptional perioperative care across multiple specialties.

Current Openings:

  • Days (7a-7p): 10 positions

  • Nights (7p-7a): 6 positions

Surgical Specialties:

  • General Surgery

  • Orthopedics

  • Neurosurgery

  • Cardiac

  • Robotics

  • Trauma

Required Certifications:

  • Active NY RN license (BSN preferred)

  • BLS/ACLS certification

  • CNOR preferred

  • Minimum 1 year OR experience

  • Robotics experience a plus

Call Requirements:

  • Call rotation: 1:6 weekdays

  • Weekend call: 1:8 rotation

  • Holiday call rotation required

  • Must live within 30 minutes of hospital 12801

Call Compensation:

  • On-Call Pay: $4/hour

  • Call-Back Rate: Time and a half + $10/hour premium

  • Holiday Call-Back: Double time + $15/hour premium

Compensation Package:

  • Base Pay: $32.00 - $58.74/hour

  • Shift Differentials:

  • Nights: 30%

  • Weekends: $3/hour

  • Evening: $2/hour

  • Sign-on Bonus: $15,000 for full-time

  • CNOR Certification Bonus: $3,000
