Gardens By Danielle, LLC offers custom garden design, installation and maintenance without chemicals for commercial and residential clients in Southeastern Montgomery County. We are seeking an individual who can work 15-20 hours a week starting in mid-late March until the end of October- beginning of November. Hours and schedule may vary depending on availability of work, season and weather.May be more hours depending on schedule. Part Time.
SERVICING SOUTHEASTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: WYNDMOOR, FLOURTOWN, ERDENHEIM, ORELAND, LAFAYETTE HILL, FORT WASHINGTON, UPPER DUBLIN, AMBLER, JENKINTOWN, ABINGTON, RYDAL, ELKINS PARK, CHELTENHAM, GLENSIDE, MELROSE PARK, HUNTINGDON VALLEY, WILLOW GROVE, LOWER MORELAND, CHESTNUT HILL AND MT. AIRY, PA)

Job Responsibilities Include:
-Weeding
-Deadheading
-Picking up sticks and clearing debris from garden beds
-Spreading mulch/topsoil/compost
-Edging garden beds
-Report any problems, situations on job site, broken or missing tools or supplies that need to be restocked to owner
*Secondary Job Responsibilities Include: *
-Watering/fertilizing plants
-Basic pruning of small trees and shrubs
-Digging holes, prepping beds for planting and planting annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables, bulbs, small trees & shrubs
-Cleaning and maintenance of tools
-Any other job duties assigned by Owner
-Collaboration with Owner and other employees as needed
*Minimum Requirements: *
-At least 18 years old
-Able to work at a quick pace, but maintain high quality work and attention to detail
-Access to dependable transportation
-Punctual
-Able to sit, stand, bend, twist, kneel, lift, push and pull repeatedly on a regular basis
-Able to lift, push or pull at least 50 lb. on a regular basis
-Able to work in extreme weather conditions (I.e. hot/cold)
-Able to work alone or collaboratively
Qualifications:
-Basic understanding of garden tools and their uses, highly preferred
-Basic plant I.D. skills preferred, but not necessary
-Excellent communication skills
-Knowledge of Horticulture or related field, preferred, but not required
-Knowledge of annuals, perennials, vegetables & herbs, trees & shrubs preferred, but not necessary
