Roaring Fork School District Re-1 Bilingual Elementary School Teacher in Glenwood Springs, Colorado
JOB DESCRIPTION: Bilingual Elementary School Teacher at Riverview School to teach elementary school students in Spanish and English. Specific duties include: - Design instructional activities that enhance the teaching objectives and reflect an interdisciplinary/thematic approach to teaching. - Select appropriate instruction materials commensurate with the students' ability levels and interests. - Demonstrate the highest commitment to student achievement and student effective development. - Communicate effectively with staff, students, parents, and the community in support of educational programs. - Support the ongoing development and implementation of the school district's standards based on educational program.
This teaching position is entry-level and does not require any prior teaching experience.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree. Fluency in Spanish. Ability to sufficiently communicate in English with students, parents, teachers, and school staff to explain curriculum, school policies, and social conventions. Valid Colorado Teacher's License with Elementary Education Endorse
