We are currently hiring a Residence Counselor, to work in our Fulton & Montgomery Agency. As the Residence Counselor, you would be responsible for:
Develop and implement Individual Action Plans
Teach independent living skills such as nutrition, housekeeping skills, personal hygiene, money management, etc.
Complete assessments, monthly summaries and documentation when needed
Demonstrate appropriate assessment skills and crisis intervention
Perform general maintenance and upkeep of the residence
Attend and participate in staff meetings and trainings
Residence Counselor Minimum Salary: $17.00 per hour
Residence Counselor Maximum Salary: $17.00 per hour
Residence Counselor Schedule:
Night, weekend, and overnight shifts are available
40 hours per week
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Valid NYS drivers license
First Aid/CPR certified (preferred)
