OpTerra Energy Services Project Manager Senior - Advisor (Renewables) in Golden, Colorado
What You Can Expect The Project Manager (PM) Senior - Advisor is responsible for providing overall management of the design, construction, commissioning, and execution of multiple utility scale renewable projects throughout the US. The PM Sr. Advisor will be renewable technology agnostic and responsible for managing execution of multiple engineering, construction, and/or procurement contracts. The PM Sr. Advisor will work with our internal and external teams, and subcontractors, to oversee the design of the project and will work with our on-site Construction Monitoring team to manage and monitor the work. THE PM Senior Advisor provides training and mentoring for assigned team members and others in the Delivery group, as well as the on-site Construction Management Team. Additionally, this role will build, foster, and maintain a collaborative working environment within the Project Tea
Utilize experience, knowledge, and leadership skills to expertly guide execution of assigned renewable projects to successfully meet or exceed expectations Manage the Project Team including the Contractors, the Owner-Engineer, the on-site Construction Monitoring Team and other Project administration staff. The on-site team may include a staff of up to 10 persons including site management, safety, logistics, and quality control Conduct Weekly Meetings including Design Reviews, Coordination with the local Utility (RTO's) and ERCOT (ISO's), and Site Coordination Prepare weekly and monthly reports for Progress, Safety and Quality Manage Construction and Procurement Contracts, Invoices, Change Order Requests, Submittals, RFI's. and prepare Cost Forecast Reports Assist with pre-construction activities and with the management of the Project Schedule and Schedule Updates Assist with developing and implementing the Inspection, Testing, Commissioning Plans, and Document Controls Processes Manage the Interconnection Process and Project Close-Out
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field required Minimum of 10 years of Project Management Experience constructing grid scale renewable projects or complex construction projects Minimum of five (5) years of onsite construction experience with grid scale renewable projects or complex construction projects strongly Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills with proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project Comprehensive knowledge of Construction Processes and Sequencing Hands on Experience with Tools and Equipment Leadership and Problem-Solving skills with the ability to lead and adapt in a demanding, ever-changing environment Collaborative approach to getting the work done Project Management Professional (PMP) highly valued. However, we welcome candidates with equivalent experience or other relevant certifications
Additional Details This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy Must be available to travel domestically up to 30% of the time Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license/clean driving record, for the use of hire cars or personal cars when traveling, to drive to site locations and meetings This position consists of 25% of outdoor work, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions Must be physically able to conduct site visits and walk renewable energy sites for extended periods of time in hot or cold weather conditions to complete job assignments Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
Compensation Salary Range: $128,400 - $196,765 USD annually
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate. Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.
ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on eography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.
In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
