A global manufacturer is looking for a Safety Director to join their team near Kingman, Arizona. This organization is the leading manufacturer in the U.S. with over 33,000 employees and $35B in revenue worldwide. This position is expected to lead the division safety team and the division's culture of safety excellence. They will oversee day-to-day department operations and serve as a resource to assist teammates at all levels in safety & health compliance.

The salary is commensurate with experience up to $120K plus bonus, profit sharing, and excellent health & retirement benefits. All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

responsibilities:

• Developing, communicating, and implementing strategies and plans to support company's safety standards and mission plan.

• Developing, implementing, and managing safety systems and compliance programs.

• Tracking and reviewing safety data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

• Engaging in best-marking and resource sharing with the corporate office and other divisions, to improve division and group performance.

• Reviewing teammate performance to identify coaching needs and set expectations through growth & development.

• Actively engaging with teammates to strategically plan and execute initiatives to improve safety and health at the division.

• Participating and leading safety audits, including compliance audits.
