Need 1 full time, temporary, seasonal Farmworker to work in Goodridge, MN. From: 03/15/2024 - 12/15/2024 Work: Mon.- Sat. 8/hrs. 8:00am -5:00pm. Additional hours of work may be offered but not required. MN Overtime rate will be paid at time and a half. Job Duties: Clean, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements and mechanical equipment; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery(much is equipped with GPS) such as combine, sprayer, planter, tillage tool to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as whet, soybeans, corn, canola, sunflowers; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or trailer to be delivered to market or storage facilities; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Haul and spread inputs, fertilizer and other materials to condition soil; Mix materials, sump solutions or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery; Attach implements using hand tools. Employer may request but cannot require workers to work on their Sabbath. The nature of farm work may require workers to work after dark and possibly weekends depending on weather conditions. Hours offered may vary based on factors such as weather or other unpredictable variables that impact the farm s operation. (as applicable and per the job description) Employer may, at the company's sole discretion, pay workers an hourly rate above the minimum required and/or offer a bonus to any seasonal worker employed pursuant to this job order depending on how many years of experience they have obtained by working for the employer or other factors such as work performance, skill, punctuality, licensing, training, prior work experience, etc. Job Requirements: Three(3) Months recent and verifiable experience; Class D license Employer Assurances: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
