Aerotek Maintenance Mechanic in Goose Creek, South Carolina
Description:
Maintaining hydraulic systems, gearboxes, conveyor equipment, vibrating feeders, hammer mills, cranes, mechanical drives and assorted industrial equipment.
Tools and equipment used are hand tools, measuring devices, power tools such as drill presses, saws, grinders, breaks, benders, shears, iron workers, pipe cutting and threading equipment, etc.
Welding, burning and metal joining equipment, hoists, cranes, mobile equipment, test instruments, gauges, equipment ladders, scaffold, hand and power tools common to the trade.
Read and work from blueprints, sketches, charts, manuals, instruction books, diagrams and other information and instructions. Fill out reports and other necessary paperwork.
Troubleshoot, dismantle, repair, assemble, inspect, test industrial equipment, machinery, structures and facilities. Install, inspect, maintain and repair piping systems, associated fixtures and equipment.
Perform cutting, welding, brazing and soldering work with metal sheet and plate, including the necessary layout work
