Position Overview

This position requires the ability to operate excel and other internal software program duties as directed by the Equipment Manager and Aggregate Manager. This job requires speaking with customers on the phone, making good customer relations skills essential and requires a basic knowledge of the construction industry.

WAGE RANGE: $22.00 - $24.00 dependent on experience. Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

Track and report WEX fuel cards and Fuel Master

Receive quotes and send to purchasing.

Place orders once Purchase Order has been received.

Place calls, receive calls, email, and texts from external vendors.

Communicate with internal customers (i.e., construction)

Manage vehicle registrations.

Responsible for completion and prompt submission of all related paperwork and the provision of other information as requested.

Forward receiving documentation to Accounts Payable in a timely manner.

Develop productive working relationships with colleagues.

Communicate effectively with colleagues, managers, and other shop staff.

Able to deal effectively and efficiently with queries and correspondence.

Ensure accuracy in all paperwork quantities.

Must be flexible in start and stop times as needed during the busy season.

Education/Experience One to two years previous experience required. High School diploma or General Education Degree(GED) preferred.

Work Requirements Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CMMS, infield, ) is necessary. Previous work within the construction industry is preferred. Must be 18 years in age or older. Strict Adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in employee handbook.

Knowledge/Skill Requirements Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ration, percent, land to draw and interpret bar graphs Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions Ability to work well with others in a group or one on one setting. To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to type and use keyboards accurately and have a strong working knowledge of Database software. Excellent customer service skills
