About the Job This opportunity is a full-time and benefits-eligible position. Schedule: Sunday - Thursday evenings dependent on route, average 4 days per week. Hours are 3:00pm - 4:00pm start times (dependent on route) End times range from 12:00am - 4:00am (until the work has been completed, will not exceed DOT hours)
As a Driver for Dawn Foods, you will be responsible for completion of daily route as assigned in a timely manner, with safety and production in focus. Obeying all federal, state, and local rules and regulations of the road including all DOT operating and recording procedures. Conducting daily face to face interaction with customers; representing Dawn Foods in a friendly, competent, and professional manner. Duties may include but not be limited to breaking down product, shelf stacking, offloading with electric pallet jacks, performing pre and post trip vehicle inspections as well as collecting invoice receipts that are generated from the deliveries.
What Does It Take to be a Driver at Dawn Foods? Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job. * Class "A" CDL License in good standing * Ability to work in the United States * Must be 21 years of age or older * Minimum of 6 months Class A Commercial driving experience * Must be able to lift 50+ pound repeatedly * Ability to operate MHE equipment * Experience delivering into food service accounts is preferred * Lift-gate, reefer, electric pallet jack and forklift experience helpful * Computer skills helpful
