Job Title: HVAC Installer
Job Description
Looking for a sheet metal installer. Tasks include bending, joining, hammering, and cutting in the HVAC Heating and Cooling industry, fabricating and installing ductwork in new build and renovation commercial buildings. The installer will create the ductwork on site and install it according to the construction documents. The positions are also referred to as tin knockers. Candidates need to be able to drive to job sites, which could be up to 40 miles from GR. Standard Safety Equipment (SSE) and a basic tool belt are required, but we can assist in obtaining these if necessary.
Hard Skills

Measure duct and read a tape measure
Have personal hand tools: hammer, tape measures, screwdrivers, and cutters
2+ years of commercial experience
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Work Environment
1st shift, starting 6/7am to 3/4pm, with 9-10 hour shifts. Start times depend on the assigned project. Projects are construction-based, focusing on the installation of new HVAC systems. The installer will work around other trades in the facility and alongside other partners in teams of 2-10.
