JOB SUMMARY
The Network Systems Cybersecurity Administrator serves as the lead cybersecurity policy designer and works with other stakeholders to insure safe implementation and operation of technologies and systems. The administrator is responsible for project management of projects involving deployment of new systems and technology throughout the district. The Administrator is responsible for researching, designing, installing, testing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and upgrading hardware, software, and other system components as it relates to these systems and technologies. This position reports to the Coordinator of Management Information Services (MIS).

Serve as the lead cybersecurity policy designer and work with other stakeholders to insure safe implementation and operation of technologies and systems
Serve as the lead designer of network and systems and work with other stakeholders to ensure alignment with district needs and goals
Serve as the project manager for the deployment of new and upgraded systems and technologies throughout the district
Consult with end-users and other stakeholders to determine functional specifications and design, develop, document, and maintain systems to manage the district's master online account structure, policy, and procedures for staff, students, and partners
Design, develop, document, create and maintain the district's virtualized network and server systems
Design, develop, document, create and maintain the applications and configurations to maintain network security
Troubleshoot system hardware, software, and network components and facilitate repairs throughout the district
Direct the work of field technicians for system-related implementation and maintenance tasks
Design and develop plans and manage the work of subcontractors and their agents in the design, implementation, and repair of district systems
Lead district network and systems planning and design to ensure interoperability of systems
Provide project plans, task progress, and task completion data prepared in a professional manner to supervisor and support personnel
Create and maintain documentation of systems, components, and related outside support facilities
Facilitate training regarding new and updated systems or features for MIS team members and customers
Maintain logs for and giving oral and/or written reports including project plans to supervisor regarding tasks in progress, planned, and completed
Maintain inventory and maintenance records of hardware, software, network, and system components
Maintain hardware- and software-based solutions to monitor, alert, and report on cybersecurity-based activity and threats
Act as the final line of support for all other MIS technicians and others requiring escalation of technical support issues
