Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a talented Environmental Project Manager for immediate employment in our Novi, Michigan office. Imagine making a positive impact in your community, such as, rewarding environmental remediation projects.
As part of this hybrid (office and remote) role, the ideal candidate will: demonstrate experience in investigation and remediation projects, maintain a strong emphasis on health and safety, exhibit attention to detail, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, aspire to advance their career, work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a high-performance team.

Responsibilities for this position may include the following:
Project Management:
Responsible for the overall management of projects and assists in establishing project-specific objectives.
Understands site investigation and remediation techniques to drive solutions for our clients.
Interacts with existing AECOM clients to discuss projects.
Provide technical oversight and quality control.
Oversees and ensures all facets of a project are completed in accordance with scope, budget and schedule.
Work with team to predict resource needs and manage resources effectively.
Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
BS/BA in engineering, geology, environmental science or a related field.
6+ years of experience in site investigation, remediation, project/task management (or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education)
US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.
Valid Driver’s License.
Candidate must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of experience in site investigation, remediation, project/task management
Experience working on projects under Part 201 and Part 213
40-hour HAZWOPER certified (current)
Detail oriented with strong organizational and communication, both verbal and written skills.
Experience preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders.
Additional Information
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $95,000.00 - $115,000.00.
