The Sales Analytics & Consultant role develops analytic solutions, monitors organizational performance and provides actionable insight on all level of KPI and metrics for the Small Commercial Sales organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and share clear analytics that help to drive operational and strategic goals.

  • Utilizing business insurance tools, monitor organizational performance and provide actionable insight on all levels of KPIs and metrics using scorecards, dashboards, ad hoc and complex analyses.

  • Focus on strategic projects and initiatives promote actionable insight and ease of doing business; works across departments and consults with Sales Excellence & Performance Director and Small commercial Sales leadership to drive solutions through analysis, and dentification of trends.

  • Understands key business objectives, cost benefit, risks and downstream impacts and provides data to business partners to assist in decision making.

  • Anticipates customer needs; pro-actively resolves issues of all types

Qualifications:

  • 6 + years of relevant Property & Casualty Analytical experience, with a strong focus on data analysis

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field is required

  • Expertise in Power Point and Excel is required; proficiency in Tableau, Salesforce and TM1 is highly preferred. Ability to learn internal systems and applications quickly

  • Ability to think analytically about business problems, make recommendations and propose solutions. A passion for making decisions through both analyzing data and employing critical thinking skills will be key in this role

  • Strong attention to customer needs and capability to translate into actionable solutions.

  • Ability to manage and manipulate large data sets

  • Demonstrated strong communication skills and ability to build strong partnerships (essential to success for this role), establishing and maintaining senior level communication.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, and to set priorities and plans to meet business goals and objectives.

  • Documented track record of creating innovative data solutions; passion for delivering outcomes.

  • Position is hybrid to a Hartford office location

Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

$85,040 - $127,560
