Robert Half Social Media Community Manager in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Online Community Manager in the Machinery Manufacturing industry. The role is based in GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan. As an Online Community Manager, you will be responsible for managing and responding to community interactions on social media and other online platforms. You will be expected to maintain strong customer engagement and provide solutions to customer inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the company's online presence by engaging with customers on social media platforms and online communities

• Respond to positive and negative reviews in a timely and detail oriented manner

• Use social media management tools like Sprout for tagging and engaging with the online community

• Moderate online community responses and identify urgent posts that need immediate attention

• Manage direct messages and comments, providing effective customer service

• Utilize your skills in corporate communications to respond to inquiries and feedback effectively

• Research customer questions and provide relevant solutions and resources to address their feedback

• Apply your background in public relations, communications, and marketing to enhance community engagement and response strategy

• Use power tools as necessary in the machinery manufacturing industry context. Requirements • A minimum of one year of experience in an online community management or related role

• Demonstrated proficiency in using social media tools and platforms

• Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to engage and nurture online communities

• Familiarity with power tools and their application in the machinery manufacturing industry

• Strong corporate communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to develop and implement online community strategies

• Adept at analyzing social media data to inform community engagement strategies

• Understanding of the machinery manufacturing industry is a plus

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field is preferred. Innovation starts with people.®
