This internship is a paid opportunity based out of our Grand Rapids office. Anticipated internship duration is May - August.
Responsibilities:
In this role you will support our social media team with delivering high quality social media content and management for our clients. This includes:
Perform social media research and audits
Write and develop content for social media including social copy, graphics and videos
Report and analyze performance
Publish social content and optimize for each channel
Community management and engagement
Ensure client work is accurate and timely
Work on multiple projects for a variety of clients
Opportunity to assist on influencer campaigns
Opportunity to assist on paid campaigns
Brainstorm and research new content and new opportunities for our clients on social media
We look for hard work, accuracy, creativity and the capability to manage several tasks while maintaining a high level of team support.
The ideal attributes are:
Understanding of social media platforms including LinkedIn, Meta, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube and TikTok
Demonstrated proficiency of online research
Understanding of social media scheduling tools
Solid understanding of social media content and development
Demonstration of written capabilities through work, internship, and/or college related experiences
Passion for the industry and willingness to expand your knowledge
Superb communication skills
Understanding of Microsoft programs including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Contribute to the firm’s overall mission
Contribute to a positive company culture
Preferred education and experience
Seeking a degree in communication, journalism, public relations or related study
Seniors preferred
