C.H. Robinson Healthcare Strategy Director - Transportation, Logistics in Grandview Heights, Ohio
C.H. Robinson is seeking a Healthcare Strategy Director to lead and influence our healthcare vertical. You will be responsible for implementing and evolving our healthcare go-to-market strategy, building relationships with high-level healthcare customers and our vertical experts to guide key initiatives. Your success will hinge on creating tailored, best-in-class healthcare solutions and refining our approach to navigate the healthcare market, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, consumables, equipment, and consumer health products. Responsibilities:
Implement and adjust go-to-market strategy for the healthcare vertical, aligning short and long-term plans with growth objectives
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop an annual plan that supports both new and existing healthcare business goals
Build and manage relationships with internal teams (pricing, solution design, shared services) to maximize collaboration and efficiencies
Utilize industry trends and analytics to inform business decisions, optimize performance, and leverage organizational resources
Engage with customers to understand their needs and develop healthcare services that provide value
Define and share customer metrics and performance results to ensure a positive experience
Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure customer feedback shapes our solutions and service delivery
Understand and leverage C.H. Robinson’s products, services, resources, and technologies to identify growth opportunities and new business models
Communicate key information to employees, including customer initiatives, market impacts, and internal announcements
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to develop solutions that exceed customer expectations and differentiate our healthcare offerings
Provide coaching and mentorship for professional and customer development
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum 10 years’ experience with a focus on customer engagement or consultative client management
Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or the healthcare industry
Ability to travel up to 40%
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience building out a new customer offering or vertical program
Strong knowledge of North America or healthcare transportation market
Ability to work independently to effectively manage customer growth
Experience consulting with multiple stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency presenting to both internal and external audiences
Demonstrated negotiation, collaboration, relationship building and influencing skills
Ability to work in a matrixed work environment
