Aerotek Injection Mold Maintenance Technician in Grandview, Missouri

Injection Mold Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift)

Pay Rate - $27/hr. ($1/hr. Shift Differential)

Job Description

A spray bottle manufacturing company is looking to add additional injection mold maintenance technicians to their team. As an Injection Mold Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining all types of electronic equipment associated with molding manufacturing. You will also lay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify developmental and production electronic and electrical components, parts, equipment, and systems, such as computer equipment, motor control instrumentation, and test equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain all types of electronic equipment associated with molding manufacturing

  • Lay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify developmental and production electronic and electrical components, parts, equipment, and systems

  • Handle computer equipment, motor control instrumentation, and test equipment

  • Fill in for the Molding Maintenance Lead when called upon

  • Assist in assigning daily job duties

  • Assist in coordinating special projects

  • Set up new machines and equipment

  • Repair and maintain various types of equipment

Essential Skills

  • Experience in injection mold maintenance

  • Experience in plastic molding

  • Strong troubleshooting skills

  • Industrial, electrical, and mechanical repair skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to fill in for the Molding Maintenance Lead

  • Experience in coordinating special projects

  • Proficiency in setting up new machines and equipment

Work Environment

The work environment is a controlled plastic manufacturing facility. The opening is on 2nd shift, from 3pm - 11pm with Fridays and Saturdays off. Training will likely occur during the day shift. Shift differentials include $1.00 for 2nd shift, $1.00 for 3rd shift, and $1.00 for weekends. Typical shifts are: 1st – 7a-3p or 7:30a-3:30p, 2nd – 3p-11p or 3:30p-11:30p, 3rd – 11p-7a or 11:30p-7:30a.
