Analog Design Engineer (f/m/d)

Job Description

The purpose of this position is to produce high quality Analog design of integrated circuit development projects, including hands-on, block level design from specification to clean database. You will be expected to utilise and drive best practise and support colleagues technically as appropriate.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Design, verification and simulation of CMOS analog blocks for power management circuits including voltage references, bias circuits, comparators and amplifiers meeting performance, area and power specifications.

  • Collaboration with layout engineers, to ensure quality of layout of own design.

  • Deliver silicon design characterization.

  • Perform Lab evaluation in collaboration with Applications Engineers for own design.

  • Produce high quality documentation for own IP blocks in line with company development flow.

  • Take proactive approach to driving own development plan, utilizing team members and internal development opportunities.

  • Working closely with DFT engineers to ensure that own blocks follow existing strategy and implementation for DFT.

  • Any ad hoc tasks as deemed reasonable by your manager.

This position is subject to the Collective Agreement of the Electrical and Electronics Industry, employment group F-G ( https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter). The monthly salary is paid 14 times a year. However, we offer a higher salary depending on your experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

  • Typically 2–5 years of experience.

  • Mastered basic job duties.

  • Work independently on straightforward tasks, with little direction from manager.

  • Can exercise judgement within defined procedures to determine best action.

  • Cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity.

  • Results-oriented and able to deliver on-time under tight schedule.

  • Ability to work both independently and part of a team.

  • Flexible to undertake occasional international travel at short notice.

  • Excellent command of verbal and written English.

  • Ability to propose innovative solutions.

  • Concise and precise communication and presentation skills within multisite and multicultural environment

  • Degree level qualification in Electronics engineering or a related discipline typically required.
