ZD Jasper Realty Inc Senior Construction Manager in Great Neck, New York
The position holder is required to develop and approve scopes, budgets, and schedules for project assignments; draft engineering judgement letters for unique project field conditions to satisfy distinctive challengespresented in the construction of project; prepare proposals to provide professional services orobtain funding for engineering projects or programs; review complete project documents for conformity and quality assurance; supervise junior engineers and all assisting staff to complete assignments, including establishing the fundamental structural engineering practices, review and approve specifications, test materials, design and develop equipment; develop new techniques and/or improved processes, materials or products; consistently monitor and achieve project financial goals; maintain client relationships, serve as point of contact for their projects, and develop opportunities for further work.This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or any equivalent civil engineering related field plus at least 60 months of work experience at the same position or similar civil engineer occupation such as project manager, civil engineer, or construction engineer. A master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or any equivalent civil engineering related field plus 36 months of workexperience at the same position or similar civil engineer occupation such as project manager, civil engineer, or construction engineer is also acceptable.
