JOB REQUIREMENTS: Duties and Responsibilties of Job: Overview American Foods Group, LLC has an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Accountant to join our dynamic Accounting team in Green Bay, WI. As our Accounts Payable Accountant, you will be responsible for: * Ensuring documentation and approvals are matched to invoices and reconciling any differences. * Code correct general ledger account numbers on each invoice along with due dates. * Maintain and Reconcile various A/P spreadsheets for importing invoices into A/P system. * Enter invoices into A/P system and generate payments of checks, ACH\'s and intercompany payments. * Prepare and mail checks and proper documentation. * Organize and maintain A/P files and documentation. * Work with accounting team to set up new vendors. * Reconcile accounts payable transactions. * Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues. * Generate reports as needed. * Assist with month end / year end closing. * Provide supporting documentation for audits. * NOTE: this description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications (Required): * Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship. * Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or related field. Preferred Qualifications: * Prior accounts payable experience. * Prior experience with M3 or other A/P packages. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills. * Excellent oral/written communication skills. * Strong attention to detail. * Ability to perform job duties with minimal direction.
