Field Technician / Mechanic - Direct Hire

Our client, Green Bay, WI is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join their Mechanic team. You will travel to customer sites to repair machines, trouble shoot issues and provide preventative maintenance.

Electrical and mechanical skills are required.

Job Title: Field Service Mechanic / Technician

Location: Green Bay, WI

Pay Range: $22.00/Hour (up to $75k - $100K potential with travel time, OT, and premium pay for Sat. & Sun. work)

What’s the Job?

  • Travel to customer sites to repair machines, trouble shoot issues and provide preventative maintenance.

* Troubleshoot mechanically and electrically on all equipment.

  • Schedule exit meetings before leaving customer site.

  • Create daily service reports to include the complete punch list.

  • Schedule a meeting prior to the service work with the key customer contact and the in-house service representative.

  • Perform procedures as described in the maintenance manuals.

  • Perform scheduled visits both service and PM visits.

  • Responsible for uploading and backing up all programs when machines are running correctly. (PLC, RSLogix, Unico Drivelink, Lenze and SPE.)

What’s Needed?

  • Associates Degree in Electro/Mechanical or related

  • Electrical and mechanical skills are required.

  • 0 - 1+ year of experience

  • MS Word,, Excel, Outlook/e-mail and 10 K Calculator

  • Welder and Grinding Experienc

  • Mechanical aptitude

  • Ability to explain technical data/information

  • Ability to plan projects and follow timelines

  • Problem solver
