Robert Half is seeking an interim Senior Budget Analyst in the Non-Profit industry, with the potential to turn into contract to hire. This contract position is based in Greensboro, NC and is required to be hybrid onsite. This newly created position will handle process improvement initiatives and special reporting for leadership, as well as perform analysis on departmental budget.

Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced analysis to support the development and administration of departmental budgets

• Advise and assist in developing budget estimates and establishing cost estimates for existing, new, and expanded programs

• Create and review varying financial reports for various internal and external entities

• Handle process improvement initiatives within the department

• Conduct special reporting for leadership and university stakeholders

• Utilize skills in Budget Processes, Accounting Entries, and Financial Reporting to carry out responsibilities effectively.

• Verification and reconciliation of accounting entries, report preparation, and analysis associated with logistics of accounting matters.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

• Previous experience in a budget analyst role or similar position is preferred

• Proficiency in budget processes, including planning, management, and evaluation.

• Familiarity with non-profit industry and its unique financial challenges.

• Strong analytical skills to evaluate budget performance and identify areas of improvement.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively present budget reports and financial data to stakeholders.
